Company Policies

Warranty

- 1 Year/12,000 Miles
- Our warranty becomes valid after the work has been done and the bill has been paid in full
- A warranty will not be given if the customer brings their own parts
- Warranty valid only if all recommended procedures are completed using new parts of our choice
- If we mis-diagnose we will re-diagnose free of charge
- Receipt must be shown for warranty work to be done
- All warranty repairs must be completed by High Tech
- There is no warranty on used parts
- Warranty is valid for the current owner only. If the vehicle is sold, the warranty becomes void
- Our warranty covers the cost of repairs up to the original invioced cost only
- If evidence of vehicle abuse is found (Using the vehicle in a way that it was not intended to be used by the manufacturer) as determined by High Tech management the warranty will be void
- Warranties are valid only for vehicles that were diagnosed and repaired by High Tech

Customers

- Customers may enter the shop area only when accompanied by shop personnel

Phone Calls

We will call customers if:
- The cost will be more than 10% of original estimate
- There are other problems found that need approval
- Their car will take longer than estimated (We will do our best to explain what happened, why it happened, and how long the delay will be)
- Their repair is done

Billing

- Bill must be paid in full before the customer may take their car from the premesis, unless the customer has a credit account
- No out of town checks
- Statements will be sent out after the last day of the month, and must be paid within 15 days

Storage

- Vehicles, tractors and equipment must be paid for and removed from property within 7 days of repair completion or a $10/day storage fee will be charged

Credit

- Customers must fill out a credit application fully and be approved by management before credit will be granted

Rates

- $55.00 per hour
- $65.00 per hour if the customer brings their own parts

Procedures

- If the customer already has a diagnosis we will ask and recommend having us re-diagnose
- Replaced parts will be saved only if customer requests it

Estimates

- An estimate will be given before EVERY job whether it is requested or not
- We will not exceed any estimate by more then 10% without prior permission from the customer
- Estimates cannot be given for diagnosis time or price. If an estimate is given it is in no way a guarantee

Scheduling

- Vehicles will be taken on a first come, first served basis. If there is an emergency (as determined by management) it will become first priority
- While waiting for parts a hold will be placed on the job and the next job will be started or continued
- A time estimate will be given of when the vehicle will be finished, but NO guarantees will be given
- Appointments are generally made for the whole day (12 hours)
